Line-ups

Last minute decision to take in this game - good choice as it happened. Third visit to Greenwich Avenue in four days - three different home teams!

This was a belter of a game and I know I can't do it justice, so I'll just add notes on the goals and lookout for full reports from both clubs' websites.

3 mins 1-0
STUART HENDRIE cut in from the left onto his right foot and curled a neat shot across Dunkirk keeper Jake Want that nestled in the far corner of the net.

30 mins 1-1
A corner in from the left headed powerfully home in front of goal by RYAN HASTIE. H-T 1-1

48 mins 2-1
Want parried a shot from the edge of the box, and when the ball ran loose, the keeper challenged Kevin Hamagou as he raced in to pounce - the Referee adjudged the challenge was worthy of a red card and Want had to go. AARON WEBSTER fired the spot kick past stand in keeper Tom Dudley.

57 mins 2-2
With the Basford back line playing a very high line, a punt over the top saw them appealing in vain for offside as the ball was collected by DEXTER ATKINSON. The speedy striker took no notice of the appeals and carried the ball towards goal before firing it past James Fogg in the Basford goal.

75 mins 2-3
Another ball from the back caught out Martin Holt as he was put under pressure by Atkinson. The defender's attempted header back to Fogg fell way short and ATKINSON nipped in to slide the ball under the body of the keeper and into the back of net.

81 mins 2-4
A free-kick was awarded to Dunkirk some 25 yards from goal. KIERAN WHALIN drilled the ball through the defensive wall and past the keeper's dive to increase the visitors lead.

86 mins 3-4
KEVIN HAMAGOU tapped home at the far post after a ball in from the left was allowed to travel across the goal.

88 mins 4-4
TJ NIGHTINGALE side-footed home at the far post after the Dunkirk defence failed to clear their lines.

90+2 5-4
With extra time looming, Nightingale raced into the box and was tripped by Yan Yeomans. Although Dudley managed to get a hand to the WEBSTER spot kick, the ball was struck firmly enough and the remarkable Basford comeback was complete. F-T 5-4
